Harpenden Society Awards for developments completed in 2018

Park House

Harpenden Society chairman Phil Waters (right) presents Pegasus Life sales managers Diana Smith and Michael Cox with the Society's 2018 Certificate of Merit for the striking Park House development adjacent to Rothamsted Park. Comprising 38 two- and three-bedroom open-plan apartments, it is aimed at the over 60s and includes a kitchen-style cafe/restaurant on the ground floor, which is open to the public, its south-facing outdoor terrace looking out across the park. The complex also includes two communal lounges and two ‘treatment rooms' offering massages, manicures and other health treatments. Harpenden Society Awards committee chair Penny Ayres points out that Park House is helping to meet the substantial need for additional accommodation for the town's senior residents.
